Poly-America and B.F. Nelson have worked together since 1992. Early in the partnership, marketing goals were established to develop the Husky brand through an upscale graphic presentation. The original mottled white, 2 color, corrugated box provided marginal merchandising motivation.

A 5 color, aqueous coated B.F. Nelson re-designed package helped them quickly gain market share with their retail customers. A restyled die-cut auto bottom structure improved packing line efficiency. Poly-America saw an opportunity to again improve sales with the addition of our high gloss “Ultra Deep” UV coating. The coating enhanced graphics and consumer perceptions of quality. The E-Flute structure eliminated secondary packaging materials, made a pallet-merchandising program possible and opened the door to club store sales. As sales increased, B. F. Nelson recommended another box style change and semi-automatic packing equipment to enable Poly-America to meet rapidly increasing demands. Now that’s a partnership.
